Mrs. Nicole

Hello and welcome to On Your Toes Dance Studio. My name is Nicole Gordon-Couto, known as Mrs. Nicole by my students. I started my first dance class at the age of 5 and quickly fell in love, especially with ballet. After dancing and teaching for 25 years a local studio in Modesto, I decided to pursue my own dreams and open a studio of my own. On August 6, 2012, On Your Toes Dance Studio opened its doors to an overwhelming amount of students and support from near and far. I am now entering my 11th dance season with OYT and I still love it as much as I did when I first opened. My favorite part of being a studio owner, director and instructor is seeing all the faces and smiles walk in through the door. I love to watch my students grow in strength, technique, and most importantly, confidence. As a studio, we have traveled near and far and have danced on many famous stages including Broadway in New York, Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee, Royal Caribbean Cruise line to the Bahamas, Disney World and Disneyland.

I currently live in Hilmar with my husband Joe of 17 years and my 3 children Dylan, Daelynn and Dayton. I love attending events within the Hilmar community such as fundraisers, parades, football games and my children's school events. I'm excited to see what this dance season brings us all and I can't wait to see all the familiar and new faces as we begin next week. Here's to a great dance season and memories to be made.
